Welcome to Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort. We are a small to medium sized full service pet boarding kennel located in the White Mountains of Arizona serving Show Low, Pinetop, Lakeside, Springerville, Snowflake, Taylor and the Overgaard area. Of course, we board many pets from the Tucson, Flagstaff and Valley area too. We have been in the boarding business for 15 years.
Our kennels are designed with your dog or cat in mind. That is why we have installed state of the art HD video surveillance cameras "PET CAMS" for your 24 hour, worldwide viewing pleasure. We are setting the standards for what all boarding kennels should be and should offer. Imagine......Logging in to our "PET CAMS" anytime, anywhere you choose and viewing your pets, in real time! In addition, we are recommended by every veterinarian without exception in the surrounding area. If you're anything like us, you have an incredible attachment to your pets and consider them a family member. At Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort we pride ourselves in treating your pet like it is part of our family by giving your pet a comfortable, enjoyable and safe stay at our heated and cooled boarding kennels. We proudly offer the largest and secure indoor/outdoor kennels in the area and are proud to say that our boarding kennels are staffed approximately 24 hours per day and open 7 days a week, Monday- Friday 7am - 6pm, Saturday 7am- 3:30pm and Sunday 8:00am- 10:00am & 3:30pm- 5:00pm. Times may vary during holidays, please call. Other times available by appointment only. We also boast that we have a veterinarian on call 24 hours per day.
When you arrive to either take a tour or drop off your pet, you will immediately notice that there is no odor of any kind at our boarding kennel. The reason for that is, all kennels are washed and sanitized every morning and all pets receive clean bedding daily. Our kennels are heated and cooled with large secure exercise/play areas that are available for your pet while they are on vacation at Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort. You'll be pleased to know, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CO-MINGLING OF YOUR PET WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S PETS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!
I have never had a disease go through my kennel and have never had a pet injured while in our care at our kennel and I intend to keep it that way.
My personal promise... Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort will give you the peace of mind that should be expected from a boarding kennel. At Heart of the Mountain Pet Resort, this is the normal rule, not the exception to the rule.
